Casting Ball
1. The raw material of forged steel ball is hot-rolled round steel. The grain size, non-metallic inclusions, center porosity, ingot segregation and other data meet the relevant national standards. It has all the characteristics of high-quality steel and becomes a high-quality grinding ball after forging, rotary cutting and heat treatment.
2. Rotary cutting steel ball realizes mechanical automatic production, and the automation degree from steel ball forming to heat treatment is very high, so as to avoid the quality instability caused by manual operation.
3. The steel ball has high volume hardness, dense structure, fine grains, good wear resistance, and the wear can be reduced by 40-45% compared with the low chromium cast ball.
4. Due to the stable quality of raw materials, the impact toughness is as high as 12-25j/cm2, and the crushing rate is less than 1%. Especially large-diameter steel balls have the advantage that casting steel balls cannot achieve in semi autogenous mills.
5. The density of forged steel balls is large. Under the condition of certain mill model, grinding particle size and pulp concentration, forged steel balls can choose smaller diameter steel balls than cast steel balls, which can also ensure the impact strength. With a certain number of balls loaded, the number of balls loaded is increased and the grinding efficiency is improved.
